Use of Your Personal Information in BELLPAL’S mobile phone apps

1. For ”Watch user” (the person who can send alarms)
The app uses and stores the following data:

  • Name and mobile phone number: for identification and communication between watch users and selected contacts.
  • Position: only in case of an alarm. The position is only shared with selected contacts and an Alarm operator. The app will ask for permission to collect position in the background, which is required for the app to be able to send position to your selected contacts when the BELLPAL watch activates an alarm. For the app to be able to send location in the background in case of an emergency, it is therefore needed to give the app permissions to always access location data.
  • Usage data: battery level in telephone and watch, and connection to the watch.
  • Contacts: to be able to add “Selected contacts” contact information from the phonebook (optional).
  • Alarm data: manual and automatic fall alarms from the watch and the app.

2. For ”Selected Contacts” (persons receiving alarms)
The app uses and stores the following data:

  • Name and mobile phone number, for identification and communication between watch users and selected contacts.
